TWO WILDLY DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES

“Two Wildly Different Perspectives” is a song by Father John Misty that focuses on the growing polarization within United States politics. As time goes on, the sides get farther apart and, in turn, farther from solving any real issues. As an exercise in typographic design, I created a few mock style frames for a mini music video following a short verse from this song. I decided to focus on the stark contrast of the two sides, and the lines that we draw between them, by using angled typography, linework, and a contrasting color scheme to highlight the drastically different positions within the system.
