Blink-182 - Up All Night Visuals

Role - Art Director, Illustrator, Animator

When TrasK House first contacted me to work on the visuals for Blink-182’s “Up All Night” on their 2023-2024 world tour, I had to stifle a nostalgia-fueled, scene-kid shriek. I’ve been a big fan of the band since I was a kid, and was ecstatic to be able to work on something for them. The project itself was supposed to parallel the “Up All Night” music video, and follow a suburban neighborhood through a night of destruction. The style was sketchy and rough, with a low framerate and intentionally unpolished movement in short loops that would be edited to the song during the preparation for the tour. I strung together 2 faster loops of 3 scenes each to cycle during the “breakdowns” of the song showing some degenerates blowing up houses, and generally causing havoc. The result suits the song well and, personally, calls back to my early days of sketching and listening to blink as a kid.
